It's called Operation November Rain.

On Tuesday morning, dozens of suspected drug dealers, including an elected official, got an early morning wake up call by police.

It's all part of a drug roundup across four central Kentucky Counties, following a year long undercover operation.

The arrests began before daylight. More than 100 police officers met up and headed out to serve warrants.

County and city officers from Boyle, Mercer, Garrard, and Lincoln Counties, as well as Kentucky State Police troopers and DEA agents then fanned out, looking for the suspects.

Among those arrested in the roundup, Lincoln County Constable Kenny Hodge. He is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. Authorities say it is for lortabs. He is also charged with possession of marijuana.

"I'm innocent. I haven't done nothing wrong. Too many people against me because of the election. All of this is political. Nothing but political," Hodge said as he was taken into custody.

State police say they've added additional charges against some of those arrested, stemming from items found in the suspects homes at the time of their arrests.

The Boyle County Sheriff says officers expect to get the majority of the suspects Tuesday, but they'll continue in the following days to arrest all 120 people they have warrants for.

As of Tuesday afternoon, authorities say they had taken 86 suspects into custody.
