While the worst of the weather held off this afternoon, it looks like we will still see some strong storms later tonight, generally between 8 p.m. and midnight. These storms will likely feature strong winds and hail, with heavy rain and an isolated tornado (mainly possible in the Cumberland Valley/I-75 corridor) being the secondary threats. Morgan County was one of the first areas to qualify for federal disaster relief after deadly tornadoes swept through the town.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has set up a "one-stop shop" in West Liberty offering local, state and federal help for tornado victims.
A large amount of Morgan County residents have already visited the disaster recovery center for a variety of reasons.
If eligible, FEMA can provide everything from temporary housing to transportation.
Some Americorps workers are also temporarily stationed in West Liberty.
FEMA officials expect to remain in West Liberty for some time to come
