CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - Corbin Elementary students and faculty held a surprise celebration for one of their teachers who is fighting breast cancer.
Jeannie Helton has worked hard to instill life long lessons into her students lives.
She has always told the kids to believe and have faith in all situations.
The school surprised her with several gifts and matching t-shirts with one of Ms. Jeannie’s quotes on the back.
Helton says the biggest reward from all of this is getting to see her students practice what she has taught them as they support her in her battle.
