BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT/WSAZ) -- A reward is being offered in connection with the arrest of the people involved in beating and robbing an 88-year-old woman.
According to a release from the Boyd County Sheriff's Office, a $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two men who robbed and assaulted 88-year-old Kate Thacker.
Thacker was attacked at her home in Catlettsburg, Ky. earlier this week.
The Boyd County Sheriff's Department say that two men knocked on Thacker's door, and when she opened it, the men punched her to the floor. The woman said one of the men then held her face down on floor, while the other ransacked her home.
Several neighbors came together to offer the reward.
Boyd County Sheriff Terry Keelin says they are working every lead but don't have any suspects at this time.
