BEATTYVILLE, Ky.(WYMT)- State police are investigating a shooting that happened this morning in Lee County.
Police say the shooting occurred on Short Hollow road around 8am. Officers found 42-year-old Gregory Joe Tirey and 44-year-old Daphne Marshall of Beattyville in a domestic altercation where police believe Tirey was shot.
Tirey was transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment. Marshall is being interviewed by detectives. Tirey and Marshall are brother and sister.
