Family fights to keep cemetary close to their home

WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - An eastern Kentucky family is fighting to keep a cemetery close to their home.

Michael and Marcia Caudill of Letcher County say a "burial is a sacred contract" and the hilltop Caudill-Hall Cemetery near Whitesburg should not be relocated.

A coal company mining in the area is seeking to move the graves.

The Caudill's are calling on county officials to help keep the burial grounds from being moved.
