Family of a murder victim will be able to bury him

WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - The family of a Letcher County man, who was murdered earlier this year, will now be able to bury their loved one.

The Mountain Eagle reports Letcher County Circuit Judge Sam Wright signed an order directing the state medical examiner's office to release the body of homicide victim Drad Fleming.

Police say his wife Stephanie Fleming and James Maggard killed him and then set his truck on fire in June.

Both pleaded not guilty earlier this year.

A third person the case, Austin Ison, was indicted in august on a complicity to commit murder charge.

Family members say they are planning a burial service for Drad Fleming on Sunday.
