For sixteen years, the creeks surrounding the Gregory house has carried fond memories for Nathaniel. "He loved it around here, he loved this land," explains Janice Madden, Nathaniel's mother, "he always wanted to be here, never wanted to leave." waters carried the fondest memories for Nathaniel Gregory.

Now, for Gregory's family, the beloved landscape will hold memories of a Monday afternoon tragedy. "Saw all this commotion down there," explains James Gregory, Nathaniel's grandfather, "I went down to the bridge to see what was going on and one of the boys with him said, 'it's Nathaniel he'd dead'. My face dropped and I said sure he's not, it can't be true."

Sixteen-year-old Nathaniel Gregory was thrown from his ATV Monday evening. Police say the vehicle landed on him, killing him instantly.

"I had just talked to him on the phone, I didn't want to believe it was true," explains Madden, " it is one of the most painfulest feelings I believe I have ever felt in my life. You want to get to him, you want to hold him, you want to tell him everything will be ok, but you can't."

The family plans to bury Nathaniel in a lot next to their home. "We want to have him close by, so we can visit him whenever we want. He might not be with us anymore, but he's in our hearts forever."

Gregory's visitation will be Wednesday at 6:00 PM at The Bowling Funeral Home in London. His funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 PM with the burial right after at the family property.
