A man is dead after an accident late Wednesday afternoon in Pike County.
The head-on crash involved two vehicles on U.S. 23 near the old Mullins Elementary School.
Police say 22 year old Brandon Boyd of Teaberry in Floyd County was killed.
A woman was also taken to Pikeville Medical Center. Her name and condition is not known.
There's no word on what led to the accident.
