Father accused of leaving child in hot car pleads not guilty

A father who allegedly left his child in a hot car for more than two hours will be back in court next Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.

Kenneth Scott Robinson pleaded not guilty to wanton endangerment charges Wednesday.

Police say earlier this week, Robinson allegedly left his two-year-old in a car when he got distracted and went to work instead of taking the child to daycare.

Officers say it was 85 degrees outside and about 100 degrees inside the car.
