Many areas are still dealing with flooding, even as snow and sleet start to replace the rain. Some of the local major rivers are above flood stage and still rising. The good news is, many of the others have crested and will start to fall. The snow and sleet will continue through much of the day, before wrapping up tonight. A father who allegedly left his child in a hot car for more than two hours will be back in court next Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
Kenneth Scott Robinson pleaded not guilty to wanton endangerment charges Wednesday.
Police say earlier this week, Robinson allegedly left his two-year-old in a car when he got distracted and went to work instead of taking the child to daycare.
Officers say it was 85 degrees outside and about 100 degrees inside the car.
