Posted: Fri 11:35 PM, Jan 13, 2012

A father now admits he caused a crash that killed his teenage daughter.

We've learned Robert Hammons pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter, wanton endangerment, and DUI. He had been charged with murder.

Hammons' 13-year-old daughter, Destiney, died in the crash in Laurel County in December, 20-10.

Police say Hammons admitted to drinking and taking prescription pills before the crash.

He'll be sentenced later this month.
