A Laurel County father learned that he'll spend two decades in prison on charges he caused his 13 year old daughter's death.
Robert Hammons was sentenced to 8 years on second degree manslaughter and the remaining 12 on a variety of charges including DUI and wanton endangerment.
He was initially charged with murder in Destiny's death, but pleaded guilty to the lesser charges earlier this month.
Police said after the December 2010 crash, Hammons admitted to taking pills and being drunk.
His aunt said Hammons had a problem, but he was not a bad father.
