Rain will gradually changeover to snow early Monday morning as temperatures crash into the upper 20s. While snowfall amounts through Monday afternoon will be less than one inch for most, untreated roads are expected to be slick. This is especially the case along the KY/VA border where 1-3" is expected. LOYALL, Ky. (WYMT) - One Harlan County Fire Department needs more volunteers.
The Harlan Daily reports Loyall Fire Chief Vern Guffy told the city council he needs volunteers to be able to close flood and drainage gates if a flood hits.
Earlier this year, Guffy also said more volunteers were needed in case of emergencies.
