LOYALL, Ky. (WYMT) - One Harlan County Fire Department needs more volunteers.
The Harlan Daily reports Loyall Fire Chief Vern Guffy told the city council he needs volunteers to be able to close flood and drainage gates if a flood hits.
Earlier this year, Guffy also said more volunteers were needed in case of emergencies.
