Slick roads will greet most folks as you head out the door this morning, so take your time on that commute. Most of the major rivers have started to drop, but there is still some flooding in some areas. Keep it locked to WYMT for updates.
BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - An overnight house fire destroyed a Bell County home.
Pineville firefighters say the fire started around two in the morning at the home in the WallsEnd area of town.
Investigators say no one lived in the home.
Neighbors say the flames spread quickly and they tried to keep it away from their own homes.
"I heard a big booming noise that I thought was just fireworks. I come out of the bedroom and smelled smoke. I come outside and and the house was in flames," said Sierra Rutherford.
No one was hurt during the fire.
The cause is still under investigation but officials say the home had no electricity.
