Fire reported at detention center

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WYMT) - A small fire broke out at the Clay County Detention Center Tuesday night.

The sheriff says he was told it started in the kitchen area and was not intentional.

He says there was some smoke but no structural damage.

No inmates had to be moved outside the facility.
