Firefighters say a wood burning stove likely caused a fire that destroyed a home near Westwood in Boyd County Tuesday morning.
The fire happened at a home in the 1400-block of Hoods Creek Pike about 7 a.m.
Firefighters tell our sister station that two adults, a teen and a 7-month-old infant were all home when the fire started. Everyone was able to get out okay.
The wood burning stove was in the living room.
The Red Cross was called in to help the family.
