A fire in Letcher County destroys a family's home.
The fire broke out Friday afternoon on Risky Street in Isom.
Investigators say an empty trailer caught fire and the flames spread to a nearby house.
Firefighters sprayed water on other homes to prevent flames from jumping to those houses.
Folks say they're left with an empty feeling.
“Everything you work for is gone. All my dad's memories, his wedding band, all I ever worked for, All I ever had was in the house and I got to save nothing," Teresa Jacobs said.
Investigators say the fire is suspicious, but a cause has not been determined.
