Fire officials tell Mountain News say they are investigating a fire at a home in the Staffordsville Community.
Officials originally thought there was someone inside the home, but the woman was later found safe.
The building is located near Route 40 behind the B & W Television Shop.
Investigators still have not determined the cause but believe it started near the back door where kerosene heaters were located.
