Fire officials: Don't let your guard down

A warning from state forestry officials, don't let down your guard when it comes to wildfires.

Spring wildfire season began February 15, 2012

Officials tell us they've already had more fires than they usually do this time of year.

So far, fires have burned nearly 15 hundred acres in Kentucky.

Kentucky's fire risk is “Low” because of a rainy winter.

Officials say it only takes a few dry and windy days to cause problems.
