First Commonwealth Bank plans to buy Family Bank of Paintsville this year.

First Commonwealth Bank has served the Big Sandy Area for more than one hundred years.

After the banks combine, they will have 11 locations in five counties.

Total assets after the purchase will be more than 300 million dollars.
