The Williamsburg City Council will have its first reading of an alcohol ordinance.
Earlier this year voters approved the sell of alcohol at restaurants only.
A 60 day waiting period will end on May 20th for officials to approve a plan to implement the sell of alcohol.
Mayor Roddy Harrison says after tonight, if the vote passes, he will set a special called meeting before the May 20th deadline.
An amendment in the ordinance would allow sales seven days a week.
