Floyd County native gets exhibit in Mountain Arts Center

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One Floyd County native's artwork is now on display at the Mountain Arts Center.

The Donna Williams exhibit called Parsing the Lunacy will be on display through February 27th.

Williams says she uses found objects' some might consider trash to create her art and represent emotional and social issues.

Williams adds, “The nails and the wire for me represent the struggle of saying too much or not enough or trying to communicate what is in your head.”

A reception will be hosted at the Mountain Arts Center on February 6th at 6 p.m.
