Updated: Thu 9:33 PM, Oct 13, 2011

A Floyd County man charged with murder after a fatal car crash in July pleaded not guilty.
Police say in July, 37 year old Malen Mitchell crossed the center line on Route 979 and hit another car.
A passenger in the other car, 22 year old Tiffany Adams, died.
The grand jury indicted Mitchell on charges of murder, assault, DUI, driving on a suspended license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
He entered the not guilty plea on Thursday.
The judge set his bond at one million dollars.
He will be back in court in January.
