WYMT Severe Weather Alert

More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

Former nursing home administrator is indicted

Another former administrator of the Golden Years Rest Home in Letcher County is indicted.

An indictment accuses twenty five year old Jonah Tackett of bribing witnesses, tampering with a witness and failing to make required dispositions.

All charges are Class D Felonies and carry maximum penalties of five years.

A court date for Tackett has not been set.

A hearing on the future of the Golden Years Rest Home is set for August 12th.
