LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - It is a food pantry without any food and that has the organizers worried about the seasonal rush that is coming.

The Come-Unity Cooperative Care in London says their shelves are nearly bare but they're not alone!

Other pantry's including God's Food Pantry, where the CCC normally receives supplies, has seen a big downturn in donations.

"Normally we have shelves over here that are stocked with reserve food because we have a lot of commodity food. Commodities have decreased since April, we have not seen as many commodities. So we had to use our reserve food and now the reserve food is gone, the shelves are bare, and we're in a situation," Director Linda Gilreath said.

The CCC says last month alone they served more than 1,000 adults and more than 500 children.
