Former London police officer sentenced in theft case

LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A judge sentenced a former police officer to jail time Friday and ordered him to pay back close to $100,000.

Former London officer Russell Baker admitted last month to taking thousands of dollars from the London police department.

The judge sentenced Baker to 90 days in jail and 10 years probation in addition to making him pay back the money.
