HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Former Lt. Governor and Hazard native Daniel Mongiardo is considering a run for governor.
Mongiardo told the Herald Leader he is looking at a possible bid in 2015.
Right now, Mongiardo says he is enjoying his life as a surgeon in Hazard with his family.
Several other democrats have been mentioned as possible candidates for governor, including House Speaker Greg Stumbo of Prestonsburg.
