MONTICELLO, Ky. (WYMT) - A former Wayne County Clerk has been indicted on forgery charges.
The Kentucky Attorney General's Office says 40-year-old Jennifer Turpin was arrested Thursday.
Investigators say while working as the office manager of Somerset Auto Auction, Turpin forged the signature of the Pulaski County Clerk on a car title.
Turpin is on probation for filing false tax returns in Franklin County and for abuse of public trust in Wayne County.
