Former Harlan attorney sentenced on charges

A former Harlan attorney is on probation, following a guilty plea on charges of theft by failure to make required disposition of property charge last year.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise reports Glenn Greene Junior was originally sentenced to five years in prison on the charge, but had the sentence probated.

The deal between Greene and the commonwealth's attorney requires him to pay more than 82 thousand dollars in restitution.
