A former Kentucky sheriff, who admitted to using his job to deal drugs, steal money and extort people is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday.
Lawrence Hodge faces more than 15 years in prison on federal charges.
In court earlier this year, he said he would go to drug dealers in the county and threaten to arrest them if they did not give him drugs.
In addition to the federal case, Hodge also faces local charges of abusing the public trust.
