Former MLB player is running for mayor

A former Major League Baseball Player is running for mayor of an eastern Kentucky town.

The Paintsville Herald is reporting former infielder, Johnnie Lemaster has filed as a write-in candidate to run for mayor of Paintsville.

Midterm elections are less than four weeks away and though the deadline to get your name on the ballot has already passed, you can still file as a write-in candidate until October 22nd.
