A former eastern Kentucky mayor has been appointed to fill the council seat left open by the current mayor.
Taylor Hall was recently defeated for Lynch Mayor by Johnnie Adams.
At a special called lynch city council meeting, Hall was appointed to serve the remainder of Adams council term.
