Former rest home owner pleads guilty

The former owner of a Letcher County rest home enters a plea deal on federal charges.

James Tackett agreed to plead guilty to theft of federal money.

Tackett faced 19 counts of theft of government funds.

Officials say the theft took place between 2007 and 2009 while Tackett ran the Golden Years Rest Home in Letcher County.

Officials say Tackett got away with more than $92,000.
