An overnight mobile home fire in Laurel County turns deadly.

50-year-old Teresa White was found dead inside her home on Waterworks Road, but officials are not ready to call this fire accidental.

Investigators are looking for answers, trying to piece together what caused this deadly fire and why.

"I'm not at liberty to say exactly what they are investigating, but we do suspect foul play," said Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.

The fire happened late Thursday night. Her body was be found inside the burnt home leaving behind unanswered questions.

"The state police have got some leads as to what is the cause of the fire and the death," said Bowling.

Police are releasing very limited information about the circumstances surrounding the fire.

An autopsy is scheduled which could provide answers, but for now they will have to wait and continue to search through the rubble for clues as they try to piece together exactly what happened.

Teresa White lived alone.

No one else was injured in the fire.

Kentucky State Police are continuing the investigation.
