Four injured in Whitley County crash that had interstate shut down

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - The interstate was shut down for at least an hour Sunday afternoon, due to a crash.

It happened around 4 p.m. near exit 25 on I-75, in the southbound lanes. We're not told what caused the crash. The Whitley County Sheriff tells us four cars were involved.

Police tell us three adults and a juvenile are injured. At least two people were airlifted to the hospital.

Traffic on both northbound and southbound I-75 is moving smoothly.
