It's one family that people living in a Kentucky community don't want in their neighborhood.
Folks in part of Corbin say a family of foxes have killed a handful of cats, have come up to porches hissing, and are even getting into garages.
"They just wander around. You can not scare them away, and they just walk around like a cat or dog," explains Bernie Onkst.
Neighbors say the foxes are gentle, but they are concerned about the "what if."
"I'm worried about it because I've seen people petting them, " Shelby Pennington said. Pennington says she made multiple phone calls to city officials, as well as Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, but she has gotten nowhere.
We made a call to Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, and they made this statement: "The foxes are the victims and the losers in this situation. The minute humans intentionally force interaction by feeding or even petting these animals, they have subjected them to a life that is dependent on humans and therefore, unnatural, so observe wildlife from a distance."
Community members hope something about the foxes will be done sooner than later.
