LOUISA, Ky. Visitation and funeral services were held Wednesday in Lawrence county for a woman found dead after being missing for a week.

Friends and family gathered in Louisa to honor and celebrate the life of Christina Barnett.

"We don't want her memory to die," says Barnett's sister, Michelle Hale, "she was a beautiful person inside and out. The heart she had was just beautiful. Anyone that knew her loved her."

Hale says her family relied on Christina to care for her kids and help her mother with health issues.

But now, they are relying on each other.

Hale was with a search party when they found Barnett's body last week in Knott County.

The Johnson County woman had been missing for seven days, and her family believes she was murdered.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

Family members are asking the community to call Kentucky State Police if they have any answers to Barnett's death.
