After spending several hours on the run, a fugitive was captured this morning in Martin County.

28 year old Sean Keller was being transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center Sunday night to face assault, public intoxication and other charges.

Officials say that's when he started complaining, saying he thought he was having a heart attack.

"The jailer, he's a good guy. He stopped to help him, to see if he could assist him, and when he opened the door, he pushed him and jumped out and ran," said Martin County Sheriff Garmon Preece.

Sheriff's deputies found Keller several hours later at a home on Milo Road in Inez.

He faces new charges of escape, resisting arrest, menacing, and assault of a corrections employee.
