WHITLEY CITY, Ky. (WYMT/WVLT) - A Scott County, Tennessee man facing sexual exploitation of a minor charges is back behind bars after several months on the run. In July, Robert Slaven was arrested on drug, weapons, and sex-related charges.
Deputies with the McCreary County Sheriff's Office say Slaven had been hiding out since September, until his capture in overnight Tuesday. He was taken to Laurel Co. Jail.
At the time of his arrest, investigators said a tip from a concerned citizen led them to Slaven's home. There, they found more than a 100 pictures of naked children ranging from infancy to 18 years old.
