Fugitive arrested following police chase

Police say they have arrested a fugitive after a two-county police chase.

The pursuit began on Kentucky 519 at Clack Mountain in Rowan County and ended on Black Water Road in Morgan County.

Police arrested James Arthur of Louisa.

He was wanted in West Virginia on numerous charges including armed robbery, burglary, malicious wounding, and battery.

He is now in jail in Morehead.
