Game watch party will raise money for tornado victims

Fans can cheer on the Cats and help a good cause at the Geaux Cats Championship Bash is all about at the Hyatt Regency.

"They can expect a very festive atmosphere," said Bob Nee, with the Hyatt Regency.

The viewing party will raise money for Kentucky Cares, helping the hundreds effected by the deadly tornadoes that hit Kentucky exactly one month ago today.

Held in the Patterson Ballroom, the event will give viewers game coverage from all sides. Multiple big screens, including a twenty foot screen in high definition, ensures a great view anywhere you sit.

Fans will be able to watch the Big Blue in action and fill up at the same time.

"We've got some pulled pork sandwiches. We've got nachos. We have pizza. We have wings, and of course free popcorn. All the popcorn you can eat," said Bob Nee, with the Hyatt Regency.

A twenty dollar donation will get you in the door, and that will go directly toward Kentucky Cares. There will be a cash bar for fans as well.

Organizers say they have room for about 600 people. They're hoping to fill all of that space for tonight's game.

You must be 21 years of age to attend.
