Golden Alert cancelled after missing woman is found in Corbin

CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - Dispatchers tell Mountain News Lena Jones was found safe about four Tuesday morning.

CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - Corbin Police have issued a Golden Alert for an elderly woman who's been missing for several hours.

Police say 86-year old Lena Jones left her home around 6:30pm saying she was going to American Greetings, a place she used to work but is no longer open.

Her son called police and claims Jones has dementia.

Crews are looking for her and police hope to find her as soon as possible since temperatures are dropping outside.

If you see her, you should call Corbin police.
