Good Samaritan rewarded

LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A Good Samaritan is being rewarded after he was attacked and robbed.

The Laurel County teen, Sean Helton, says he stopped to help a woman he thought was having car trouble when two men pulled up and robbed him.

Helton says one of the men lunged at him with a knife, but his Carhartt jacket, which was ripped by the blade, kept him from being seriously hurt.

After seeing our story, Carhartt contacted Shelton and is now sending him a new jacket.
