More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

Google to pay fines over privacy issues

Google agrees to a record fine over a privacy issue.

The tech giant is paying more than $22 million to settle allegations it broke a privacy promise by secretly tracking millions of web surfers who use Apple’s Safari browser.

It’s the largest fine the FTC has imposed against a company for violating a previous agreement with the agency.
