Governor Beshear attends coal event in Harlan County

Governor Beshear was in attendance Thursday for an event commemorating Harlan's first commercial shipment of coal by railroad.

The Harlan County Historical Network president says Governor Beshear's involvement in the event shows just how important the coal industry is to the area.

We will have a wrap-up of today's event tonight at 11.
