Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear announced nearly $300,000 National Emergency Grant for flood cleanup. The funds from the U.S. Department of Labor will create about 25 temporary jobs for eligible dislocated workers in Bell and Knox counties to assist with clean-up efforts... including repairs, renovations and reconstruction of roads and waterways as a result of the severe storms and flash flooding that struck Kentucky in June.
