Grant will provide funds for outdoor classroom

Updated: Thu 7:07 PM, Oct 28, 2010

Students at Arlie Boggs Elementary will soon enjoy a new wetland classroom thanks to a grant from the PRIDE organization.

The new addition will be an outdoor classroom and allow students the opportunity for hands on learning.

Officials say this will teach kids the importance of protecting the environment.

School officials say they plan to incorporate the wetland into all of their departments including language arts, science, math and history.
