Harlan County man carjacked

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Authorities are looking for a man and woman who they say carjacked another man in Harlan County.

Kentucky State Police received a call from a man saying he was forced out of his car.

The incident happened on US 119 at Sookie Ridge.

Officials received information that the duo may be headed to West Virginia and put all surrounding agencies on alert.

The vehicle was later spotted in Chapmanville, WV by the Chapmanville police.

Authorities initiated a traffic stop but the car drove away and the driver eventually got out of the car and ran.

Police recovered the vehicle and are still looking for the man and woman.
