Harlan County man faces several charges

HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - One Harlan County man faces a laundry list of charges.

Sheriff's deputies say they tried to pull Oney Brown over along Highway 119 and he refused to stop.

Officials say Brown then led them on a brief chase, stopped the car, got out, and ran away.

A dog was then used to track Brown, who pulled out a knife and tried to stab the K-9.

Police say he then stole a car and was stopped by police in the Hiram community and arrested.

Brown faces charges including DUI, attempted assault on a service dog, and numerous other charges.
